About the Report

The Udyam report evaluates the impact of the Green Election Initiative, undertaken to promote sustainable practices and environmental awareness during electoral processes. CISE conducted field assessments across targeted regions to observe implementation strategies, community engagement, and adoption of eco-friendly measures in collaboration with local authorities and election stakeholders.
Key findings indicate significant improvements in waste management, adoption of sustainable materials, and increased voter awareness regarding environmentally responsible practices. Community members actively participated in awareness campaigns, and election officials reported smoother coordination with reduced environmental impact.
The report also identifies areas for further enhancement, including strengthening local monitoring mechanisms, expanding outreach programs, and increasing community-led sustainability initiatives.

Recommendations focus on integrating environmental best practices into future elections, scaling educational campaigns, and fostering long-term behavioral change among voters. These measures aim to position the Green Election Initiative as a replicable model for combining civic engagement with environmental sustainability, reinforcing CISE’s commitment to fostering responsible and sustainable communities.
